Tóm tắt

This article examines the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) within the mission of the United Nations. It highlights how AI can complement natural intelligence in humanitarian action, disaster preparedness, climate change mitigation, and the sustainable management of critical mineral resources. Emphasizing the need for inclusive and globally coordinated governance, the paper argues that AI should be treated as a global commons requiring collective stewardship. Drawing on United Nations history and forward-looking proposals, the author calls for repurposing existing UN mechanisms, such as the Trusteeship Council, to act as a multi-stakeholder body that safeguards long-term global interests. By combining scientific evidence, policy innovation, and ethical responsibility, the article envisions AI as both a catalyst for human progress and a challenge demanding preventive, collaborative action to ensure dignity, equity, and sustainability for future generations.
