Peer Review Process and Article Selection

Members of the Editorial Board are responsible for ensuring that the peer review process is fair, unbiased, and conducted in a timely manner. The selection of articles must be based on their scientific quality, relevance, and alignment with the scope and focus areas of the Saigon International University Journal of Science.

Reviewer Selection

Editorial Board members should consult with the Editorial Council to select qualified reviewers who possess expertise relevant to the subject matter of the submitted manuscript. All potential conflicts of interest involving reviewers must be carefully considered to ensure fairness and impartiality in the review process.

Each manuscript is typically reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. If necessary, a third reviewer may be invited. Editorial Board members must adhere to the Journal’s policies and procedures regarding peer review and evaluation, ensuring the most appropriate reviewers are selected and unsuitable reviewers are avoided.

Transparency and Editorial Procedures

Editorial Board members must ensure transparency throughout the editorial and review process and strictly follow all procedural and professional guidelines.

Confidentiality

Editorial Board members are required to maintain the confidentiality of all manuscripts submitted to the Saigon International University Journal of Science, as well as all communications with reviewers.

Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest

Editorial Board members must comply with the Journal’s policy on the disclosure of conflicts of interest between authors and reviewers.

Editorial Board members must not participate in decision-making regarding the review or publication of their own manuscripts. In such cases, the peer review process must be handled independently from the involved Editorial Board member and their associates, in accordance with the Journal’s established publication ethics policy.
