Article 2: Mission and Objectives
- The Saigon International University Journal of Science (hereinafter referred to as “the Journal”) is a unit under Saigon International University. It serves as a scientific forum for publishing, presenting, and disseminating research results; sharing information related to specific academic disciplines; providing guidance and exchanging experiences in teaching and research within the fields of study and training of Saigon International University and its collaborating institutions both domestically and internationally; and providing information on the university’s activities.
- To present and publish national and international research outcomes that contribute to teaching, training, scientific research, and technology transfer activities of faculty members, researchers, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students of the University.
- To provide an academic platform for the exchange of information and sharing of experiences in teaching, training, and scientific research, thereby contributing to improving the quality of teaching and research at the University.
- To enhance the reputation, academic standing, and research quality of Saigon International University in education and scientific research.
Article 3: Publication Content
The Saigon International University Journal of Science is a multidisciplinary journal publishing scientific and technological research in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, Economics, Social Sciences and Humanities, Foreign Languages, and others, including:
- Research articles presenting new (original) scientific findings, proposing novel methods, ideas, or solutions.
- Review articles synthesizing secondary sources (mainly research articles published in academic journals) on a specific topic.
Article 4: Scope and Subjects of Application
- This regulation applies to members of the Editorial Board, reviewers, and authors whose scientific works are published in the Saigon International University Journal of Science.
- The target audience includes scientists, lecturers, researchers, PhD candidates, postgraduate and undergraduate students of Saigon International University, as well as scholars and institutions from other universities, research institutes, and organizations both domestically and internationally.
Article 5: Publication Frequency and Distribution
- Publication Format
- Frequency: Quarterly (every 3 months), 4 issues per year.
- Format: 20.5 x 28.5 cm; Length: 84 pages; Print run: 200 copies per issue.
- Place of printing: Ho Chi Minh City.
- Publication languages: Vietnamese and English.
- The Journal is published 4 times per year, in March, June, September, and December. Each regular issue contains approximately 10–12 articles.
- Special issues (thematic editions) derived from conferences or seminars organized by units within the University must be included in the annual publication plan or proposed by the Academic and Training Council and approved by the Editorial Board. A special issue may replace a regular issue. In cases where conference or seminar funding covers review and publication costs, the Editor-in-Chief may authorize a special issue in addition to regular ones.
- Legal deposit and distribution
- Legal deposit copies are submitted to: the Propaganda and Education Commission of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, the Press Department – Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Library of Saigon International University.
- Distribution scope: The Journal is distributed nationwide and published online via the official website of Saigon International University.
- Complimentary copies are sent to selected universities, research institutes, the State Professorship Council, scientific organizations, management agencies, and relevant individuals with academic or collaborative relations with the University.
Article 6: Operational Principles
- The Journal operates in accordance with the Press Law, complies with the regulations of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the internal regulations of Saigon International University.
- Members of the Editorial Board, Secretariat, and Editorial Council are responsible for their assigned duties, perform tasks according to their positions, and adhere to the general regulations of Saigon International University.
